The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore (SNAMES), organiser of the Singapore Pavilion at Maritime Vietnam 2009, has organised a Singapore Reception hosted by IE Singapore for the participating Singapore companies to network with international exhibitors, trade buyers and visitors.

Held at the SNAMES Booth on 25 February 2009, the Singapore Reception was a strategic platform for the Singapore Pavilion exhibitors to explore possible business tie-ups and partnership with the global maritime community.
